I’m really enjoying the service aspect of this Episcopal Service Corps program, but what really drew me to Saint Hilda’s House was the focus on spiritual direction, formation and discernment. My primary goal for myself for the year is to explore how and where I’m being called in a vocational sense, and the emotional, spiritual and practical support I get from the other Hildans and from the program staff is invaluable for that work. I’m excited to be in a place where everything we do, from service at social justice agencies to group theological discussions, is grounded in the desire to more fully love others in Christ.
