Saint Hilda's House is supported, in part, by generous grants from our partners.  However, we are always in need of further support.
Housing, feeding, paying, providing insurance, transportation subsidies, materials, retreats, spiritual direction, and much more all cost money.  This obvious fact does not discourage us, but makes us all the more thankful for those who want to be a part of this ministry by helping to support us.
 By helping, you will be part of a ministry that is thriving and making a difference in the lives of young people, the homeless, HIV/AIDS patients, the hungry, and the mentally ill.  There is so much work to do. We are so very proud of the work our partners are doing.  Moreover, we are deeply honored to help them continue to serve by placing our interns with them.
Every day, we learn from the men, women, and children we serve about the grace and love of a living God.  We come to see just how much is possible when people care enough to take a risk on hope.
Our interns are doing more than deepening their faith.  They are doing more than discerning a call.  They are listening to the voice of God in those they serve and discovering that God's treasures here are the weakest, the lonely, the broken-hearted, and the destitute.
As Saint Hilda's House works to grow in faithful witness we hope you will take a chance with us and share in the joy of witnessing to God's love as we seek Christ in the city.

Yours in Christ,
Saint Hilda's House

Your Place Youth Center
Recently one of our teens said, “if I was not in this program I would be out on the streets and in trouble. This is the only good thing going on for me.”
"Over the course of one year we serve over 100 youth, who have experienced street violence and are looking to improve themselves and their community.

“We saw how beautiful we are and learned to accept ourselves for who we are,” he said. “When we come here we can never feel alienated.
AIDS Interfaith Network

"[There is] the need for continual support for children when their parents die. We lose so many parents, and there is no place for the children."

Above: Elsie Cofield, founder of AIDS Interfaith Network, Inc. thought she had accomplished everything she wanted in life, but then found she had a new mission to complete.

The mission of AIDS Interfaith Network, Incorporated is threefold:

to minister to the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS and their families;

to carry the messages of HIV/AIDS prevention to the community;

to broaden the base of support for persons living with HIV/AIDS by teaching the community to provide care that is compassionate and nonjudgmental.
